Title: What is your view on ghosts?/Paranormal/Scary shit you've experienced

I'm openly a spirtual person and I would have to see it to believe it but I'm open to the idea that ghost exist. I've always wanted to go ghost hunting. What is your standpoint?

I personally had a very scary encounter about 7 years ago. I was sleeping in my parents room (they were remodeling my side of the house) and on the bed I see this red, glowing angular face looking at me. And as I'm looking at it there is this really strange tune that I couldn't tell if its playing in my head and it seemed to be saying "The cow flys over the moon" and then I just fucking jumped out of the bed and just jumped into my parents bed.

I can't think of a reason WHY ghosts would exist (being, you know, somebody who isn't religious) but there's definitely some weird shit out there.

I can't genuinely say something apart from light poltergeist activity has happened in my house, but one of my friends (whose also atheist) has had some pretty weird things happen in his house, and not just to him but also to friends coming over and his mom.

Some old paranormal activity back in my old place. Random noises, stuff falling, walking noises at night. Heck I swore I saw a ghost orb once.

So I was like "FUQ U GHOST LOL" so the ghost was like ":'(" then I said sorry and the ghost and I are friends now.  ;D. She now lives in the kitchen.

I do believe in ghosts. I've had my encounter with them along with several people.

Recently my aunt died from cancer. I think I said it once in that thread. She was a great person. she was a widow and she spent most of her time cooking cleaning taking her 6 grandchildren to school and taking care of them in general as their parents went to work everyday..

Her children would always fight. She had 3 kids and they'd always fight about money and leave their children to her and for her to worry about. In the end, her children used her as a nanny for their children and even ask her for money. Needless to say, she didn't have a very good relationship with her children.

Her grandchildren were a different story. They were well taken care of by her and nurtured well since their own parents lack the time and willingness to be there for their kids. they were the reason she gets up in the morning.

The sudden death of her took a huge impact in the whole family. No one to take care of the grandchildren now. Their kids still fought and bickered about money. They honestly didn't care as much that their own mother died. The oldest of the grandchildren decided to take in charge in cooking and cleaning and taking care if everyone. She's only 14.

About a month after her burial, weird things started going about in the house. Not only her kids but also the grandkids would take notice.

Noises in the kitchen as if someones trying to cook. Pots and pans would clank around as well as spoons and forks would sound like they've been moving around. To top that off with horrible moans that sound like her when she was laying in the hospital bed in pain would echo through the house. And the last thing that creeped me the fuck out was.. you can hear her walking. And it's not a normal healthy person walk. Her footsteps were slow and you can tell she's dragging her feet. You can hear it slide and step out in the hallway. One of her youngest grandchild who was 4 ran to the kitchen at 3am calling out for nana because he wanted some snacks. And that she was "there" and if asked what she wore when he saw her,  he said "she's wearing white dress". Which was close since it was a hospital gown was what she wore before she died. How could he have known that? Children that young were not allowed to visit the terminally ill.

This was recent. My mother said its because she felt that her business here wasn't finished. Her grandchildren still needed her. That's why she came back.

Once, I was watching tv a couple years ago late at night, when all of a sudden the lining on the screen on all the characters started melting off of them and onto my floor. I was so afraid, I was sure I stopped breathing. I just closed my eyes and started praying, and when I opened them, it was gone. I don't really watch tv in my room much anymore. :\

Then I heard my door (which was behind me cuz I was facing the wall) bust open violently and I knew someone or something was standing there and I felt it approach my bed and I knew for a fact it was standing behind me. I couldnt move at all so I was literally freaking out.
I did what you did, Idk if it was praying but my mom told me to say a specific quote when I'm at a time when paranormal seems to be around.
Then I just passed out.

I also remember sleeping in the same bed then violently being woken up by the door opening loudly again - but this time I was able to move.
Soon as the door flung open I sat up and of course I was still in a daze and half asleep. I thought it was just my cousin being a dick but I knew I saw a black hooded shape thingy I couldnt really make out - but he had red eyes and that was it. Black blob with red eyes.

I remember sitting up - staring at him while he was standing by the door. I was still pissed off that this thing opened the door so fucking loud and woke me up and i just fucking screamed "WHAT THE FUCK MAN?!" thinking it was my cousin. And went back to bed. lol....
The next day was only when I realized what the fuck that was.

I'll only believe them when I see them. I haven't lived in any haunted houses or anything, seeing as every house I lived in so far was built in 2001+ with no previous ownership. On top of that, I live in an area of town where development kicked off in late 90's/early 2000's...so not very many haunted houses or areas to visit :(

But I have a story too. In my old house, we had a ghost that didnt bother us too much, the only time ive seen her was when she was at my bedside when i was like 5. She looked young, like my age, I sat up, I remember I was sweating and I was fucking scared to shit. I ran from the other side of my bed, closed the door behind her, and ran into my parents room, bawling my eyes out. To this day I havent fully explained to them what happened.

I once heard banging in the 2nd floor of my house like if someone was stomping with boots when I was the only one there.

Being the wuss I am, I got a really sharp throwing dart (first thing I saw) and began going up the staircase. When I got there I saw one of my blankets looking like someone was in it. It was in the other side of the bed, so I began going around. When I got there I opened up the blanket and nothing was there. The blanket just collapsed.

Also, one time, a dead petrified cat with no eyeballs just appeared on our back window doors. It was positioned like it was curled up in pain and looking STRAIGHT INTO THE DOOR. IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS STARING INTO YOUR SOUL. Jeez. It just looked miserable, even though it was probably dead for a long time. The fur was completely clean and it had everything a normal cat would have except the eyeballs.

When I throw things in garbage bins and they always go in no matter what.

How many times I could have died as a child.

At first we thought it was like something bad about to happen or something like a ghost, but then we feared the worst that someone throw the cat over to poison our dog since she ALWAYS barks and we got a threat for it.

I've seen a few things but nothing like some of you have. Occasionally, the lock on my door actually turns and unlocks. While I'm looking at the lock! And the scariest thing is that I'm home alone. Sometimes I would hear some creaking noises from some of the bedrooms and would go out of my room to investigate, prepared to find someone, and hopefully kick them to shit. After about 10 minutes of searching I would go back to my room, only to hear some faint footsteps a few minutes later. There are a few very strange things I have experienced, but these events are too recent and will get me emotional even as I type. Some other time...

Sometimes, I actually think it would be....Fun to face a ghost. Like something out of the ordinary happening and something INTERESTING happens. Even if it may be a deadly situation.

2) When I was small - Saw my parent's head stretched long and came out from their wedding picture... (my brother saw that too..During late night before asleep)
3) Saw my family picture, the figures moving inside, talking and chatting with each other..... When I had a fever
4) Heard my mum calling out for me from upstairs, but she's at work... During daytime..

This is a nice one that i can actually tell since i haven't made a promise of not saying those.

There is this club for the family's of the peruvian marines with houses, in the beach, with a nice pool, and huge place to eat and play ping pong and shits... and like 4 beaches.


anyways, 3 story's;

There is this apartment building close to a little road to a statue or w/e of the virgin... there me and my family went like 2 or 3 years each summer...

1) there were 3 couches, 1 for 1 guy, 1 for 2 and one for 3... the couch for one was facing the one for 2 and the one for 3 was close to the wall, and in the corner of the room there was a TV. We all went to sleep and the following morning the couch for 1 was facing the TV with a glass at his side... this happened more than once.

2) once my sister went to the bathroom to look something in his face on the mirror, the thing is that we used to leave the teeth brushes in line like I I I ... my sister saw that thinking that it was cute, proceed to keep looking to the mirror and when she looked down the brushes were making a triangle.

3) i was looking by the apartment buildings with mi scooter, and when i saw by the building with the road, i try to do a (stupid) trick and fall to the ground, i remember it hurt and when i looked up there was an old woman on the first floor of the building.

The following day, by around 7 pm, the lights went off in all the club, but the lights of the first floor of that building were on for the first time in the week.



We asked the employees of the club why they had light, and they said had no idea and none of them wanted to go ask.

I scare my self shitless sometimes. I have a terrible fear of people or faces just appearing around me, just staring at me. For example, sometimes when I'm in the shower and washing my hair, I'll try to keep the soap away from my eyes so I don't have to close them. I'm afraid that when I open my eyes, I'll see a person or face just in the shower, staring at me. Sometimes in my house, I'll imagine someone just standing around a corner so their face is just barely visible. I always imagine their facial expression to be blank, but the face will look bizarre but somewhat normal. Like a grey face with dark black eyes. I do this very often. I actually had a similar dream very recently. It was so frightening, I almost woke up screaming.

Sometimes, when rarely waking suddenly, with my eyelids just turning open, I have seen a shadowy figure resembling a man looking at me from the foot of my bed.  But only for a half-second. 
It seemingly instantly shoots into the floor before my vision can even focus.
Doubt it's a ghost, could be an illusion.
It's happened 3 times only.

Maybe supernatural forces are visiting me in my dreams.

I don't see anything paranormal out of that. Happens to me often when i'm feeling grumpy. Or it could be a ghost pushing me off the bed since it wants more room to sleep in.

I've had sleep paralysis where I hallucinated I fell out of bed. It was super real because I felt myself falling and I didn't wake up. When I did I was like "I thought I fell out of bed".

When I was little, I watched this TV show for children. It had some really creepy dolls which still haunt me. I remember always pulling my bed sheet behind me so it can't grab my leg. And I put the sheet so tight that it can't take the sheet off me.
Then when I was dreaming about them, I always tried to run away from them. And I always remember that feeling when you go so fast in your dream that your body is having an dream-gasm. I was like, rolling down a snowy hill. That feeling is so strange. It has happened before. I always fall or go fast in some way.

Has anyone woken up from a dream and actually feel things like pain? I once dreamed I was alone in somewhere that resembled my house and was in my sister's bedroom when something grabbed my leg from under the bed. I woke up and felt some sort of claw like hand clinging on to me. I got shit scared, until I looked at my ankle only to find nothing. Dammit! I hate when that happens!

Yeah I had a dream I was shot and my arm was bleeding so bad and I could feel the veins throbbing and pushing out blood each time my heart beats. I woke up my arm was in pain














turns out i was laying on it for 4 hours and it became numb to the point of pain.

Sometimes my body will decide to roll on my stomach and I'll sleep with my face in my pillow. Whenever this happens I dream I'm in my elementary school. And it's SUPER hot and it feels like I can't breath.

oh lol i remember once i dreamed i was in a old war running with my gun and suddenly a bullet to my right leg... i woke up and i had kicked the stairs of my 2 floors bed... part of my leg was purple/green.
