It's just a lamer version of Steam and it's white colored.

Let me reiterate:
Is Battlefield 3 for $30 worth the hassle of Origin?

Just buy it, and download the non-origin crack for it. Once it authenticates with origin, you don't need it running anymore.

The crack basically verifies with origin and disconnects right away, so Origin is only running for a minute or so.

It's what I do with ME3.

You can set origin not to open on start up Run>MSCONFIG
Other than that its actually pretty good, though I would reccoment Bad Company 2. It hasn't got as much CoD scrubs that run around with rocket launchers.

I heard EA was banning people who bought legit BF3 but used the 'crack' that razor1911 made for legit buyers to avoid origin.

If you have nothing to hide, get origin.  But I have heard it scans your entire PC for EA content so they would probably detect pirated software.(if you pirated any of their other games, but bought BF3 legitimaately)
Whether they'd do anything about it is the question...

origin is horrible
if it didnt fucking scan your entire PC for shit I would probably buy Me3 and BF3 but I won't because of that.

I hope EA goes bankrupt and is bought by Valve or something

Well, I bought it anyway.

However, my GPU isn't good enough to run it.

Slight problem.

I used Origin while having 3 pirated EA games, and even a pirated Bf3. If you have nothing major to hide, go ahead and use origin. It's not as bad as everyone says, but it's still kinda stupid.

IMO, Origin is just too simple and basic. Other than that, it's ok.

I have a GT 9600.

Does that give anyone some blinding insight?

It should.
