Title: Tater weapon purchasing issue needs fixing
Post by: Travelsonic on March 14, 2012, 11:48:53 AM
As tater, it is currently possible to select "purchase weapon" with nothing selected - when you do, "you have recieved your special equipment" pops up, nothing purchased, credit wasted.

Please fix it.

Then stop doing it.
:troll:

Obviously it shouldn't be doable in the first place.

I don't see why you would do that in the first place... But good find.

Alright in the list of  "1001 ttt items that need to be fixed" This one is awfully low in my list of priorities.

Yes, you are correct it shouldn't happen, and the people who created ttt are terrible for not fully checking all the possible states that could happen.

But to me,
- it doesn't pose a risk to the stability of the server
- It doesn't break the gameplay

So yes, we probably could fix it, but for now I am more under the opinion that you should be more careful in how you select your traitor weapons.

When you can, as in when the other more prominent issues are dealt with, do fix it.

I agree that compared to other issues, it IS low priority, though something that eventually SHOULD be fixed, as it is a bona fide bug.

And a damn annoying one too - if I have a mouse that craps out, or I encounter server side lag, I click, but it doesn't register that I selected something, even though it may highlight the item in the shop, and as a result encounter another situation where this is a problem, to answer samo's question.  It doesn't just have to be an intentionally trying to do sort of thing.
