These games are amazing and don't get Civ IV on Steam.

It is very good, I thank gamefreak for purchasing it for me.
But to actually like it, you have to be good at it, so spend a lot of time with it, getting to know it.

I fucking love Civ 4. Longbowmen are overpowered as FUCK though.

As of 1160AD, the English have been wiped off the map. They battled valiantly and cost many musketmen and axemen, but after my capture of London after the razing of Hastings they never regained their glory and I was never threatened by an English unit again. They held their last stand at Coventry, and I rename the city "England" in memory of a fallen foe (a little ritual I picked up when I used to play Civ III years ago).
Unfortunately, I ended up razing half their cities and FUCKING BYZANTINE decided to settle those areas.
This is how the area looks like 100 years later.

I don't know if anybody gives a shit, but I know I don't.
500 years later, after 120 years of war, half of Byzantine is reduced to a measly three cities under legions and legions of Grenadiers and Riflemen.

I also took those two cities in that area England used to be in.
UPDATE: Byzantine falls in 1728AD, brought to their last stand in Angora.
