Gabe Newell was waiting for 3-D stuff to be mainstream, and release Half Life 3 so it could be called Half Life 3-D?

Or just waiting until technology got better so it would turn out better.

I bet they will modify Source and make it better but I don't think it will affect that much performance.

I hope you know hl3 will most lilely run Source as with all Valve games. Just Super Updated.
