Ok, that one got me.

Also, turn this into a religious flame war, and I will reach though this man's internet and slap you.

Mind=blown

This is pretty interesting stuff. Although I don't think I'll manage to read EVERYTHING.

Sadly, now it just ends. Before Notch changed it, it did all kinds of insane stuff. And then it ended, but in an insane manner.

Yeah but... I wasn't just talking about one single planet..
If you scroll all the way out you'll see pretty much all the things get bigger and bigger.
I was saying, that the universe is so fucking dense that.. y no aliens come yet?

They probably have, but looked at our planet with the troubles we have, and simply went lolnope, fuck dat shit.

Dense?

The CLOSEST star to us is Proxima Centari, which is 4.2 light years away.
If aliens exist, they likely don't know we exist.
And if they did, they would have no way to reach us with any spacecraft.

Considering that the universe is humongous, wouldnt you think they have the same exact mindset as we do when we think we're not the only ones here? Maybe they won't know the earthlings specifically but they should be aware that there are other living things out there the same way we do.
Plus there's no way we can even know any of this stuff, for all we know they can be sloth-hybrids who are a million years ahead of technology.

and THIS.. Although there was never really a solid hardcore proof that there are aliens here, so I'm not gonna say there are any but if there are..
well damn.

The truth is that there may be another life form (most likely non-intelligent single-cell) in the galaxy.
We will never find it.

There may be intelligent life in another galaxy.
And again, we will never find it.

Exactly.

Earth was a fuckup. It took a series of crazy events for life to actually form on here. While there is a chance the exact same thing happened somewhere else, it's highly unlikely ._.

Logistics behind, I like to pretend that the universe works like in Mass Effect where all the other aliens are like "LOL HUMANS ARE TOO SAVAGE DON'T GIVE THEM WEPONZ" like they did with the Krogan.

Anyone else really wondering what an atom looks like, in real life and not a drawing/3d image?

Atomistic Modeling : Material Science - Exploring The Atomic Composition of Alloys (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQetFNODHZA#)

At this point, I really dunno if that's real or not.

Well, if there are enough planets in existence at least one of them will probably end up experiencing a workable combination of events and life would form. It may be drastically different of course, but it could happen I would think. Getting to it would be impossible as you guys have said, sadly. Unless we discover something amazing, like a mass relay, we are definitely stuck here. D:

I don't want to make this a flame war, I like speculating aboot this stuff

What if we're the most 'advanced' thing out there that hasn't KILLED itself, or been killed off yet...

Or...

In a very reasonable distance to anything else? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermi_paradox)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

IF there's anything else?

 ._.

I honestly don't care either way, though.
It'd be nice to speak (in any form) to someone who doesn't have a concept of life on Earth or Earth in general however, let alone the mindset of being human.

Or not, you know, because there could be nothing out there for us to yell at with our fancy radio waves.

Would make me feel like less of a conceited doublethink power-mad pyromaniac zealot babby with a seemingly ongoing brain anomaly and a superiority complex, who has not only managed to fling his poop really really far, but also managed to unleash The Power Of the Sun on his own house -and- put a rectangle on a Big Grey Thing.

pssh, if only we can go in to detail with the atoms and like, see shit moving around inside of them.

I don't really know how Humans exist in Earth.

I know how planets exist. But humans, how?
