Title: CPU fan problem
Post by: kurtis_13_1994 on February 02, 2012, 08:04:19 AM
Ever time I start up my PC it makes this noise of the CPU fan hitting something, but then after a few mins it stops.

Maybe a screw is loose? Open up the side and take a look

I had this issue for a bit too. Make sure there are no wires hanging around where the cpu fan is, or anything that could touch it while it's spinning.

Something may be wrong with the stability of the fan. Maybe try checking the screws. One may be loose?

I had that to...

Is there anything ON your computer where the fan is?

Or as a few other people here said, slide her open and twist those screws... no pun intended.
