I am currently in talks with coolz about hosting a temporary version of the wirebuild server.
It will have a similar amount of slots, however since I am going to be hosting it from here, expect around a 40 ms increase in latency.
I apologize for this inconvenience, but there really isn't anything I can do about the speed of light.
I intend to make the transition from the standard Rnd server, to the temporary hosted by me as seamless as possible. I should be able to keep the server hosted to at minimum early may, with a small downtime as I transition from college. Continuing on until coolz is able to restore the full servers.
I am working with coolz to get as much of the server data as I can, however there is quite a significant amount of data accumulated, so People of wirebuild, please SAVE YOUR CONTRAPTIONS NOW! They will be back when coolz starts hosting again. There is a chance I will have a copy of the most recent dupes, this is not certain, so if you have projects you are working on, please save them.

None of the stuff related to my server is exactly set in stone but I'm fairly certain.
Well at least it's not perminant! Maybe today or tomorrow I can see if I can host a ZS Server!? I mean that new and improved ZS came out, and idk where to get the one we use..It was decided that it would be best if the admins host temporary rNd servers.

Coolz runs the servers himself.
I haven't really talked with coolz yet, but i can and might host 2 servers, in CS:S, Garry's Mod, or TF2.

I don't really get it - why people are so fuzzy about servers going down. I know we aren't able to play on the servers, but the website is still on. rNd isn't going anywhere. We are still staying as one whole community. There are many regular players, which will come back right after the servers come back.
You could say we are going to have a long vacation from rNd's servers.
Im scared that people will leave and not come back, the reason why people are sad is because many play on the servers daily, and now they will be gone for months..

i assume you have explored this possibility, and have heard this from other people.but is there any way to say.. let someone else run the servers?(i am probably underestimating the workload of running such a large community) its hard to find servers with regulars these days. il miss the ttt and wire servers very much.

i was a heavily active TTT player on random people thought i left but i was still playing but just not alot when i came back BOOM servers are down.I don't know the exact problem and I don't mean to talk for Coolz, but it has something to do with the IP. If you add the server's IP to your favorites, it doesn't show up in your favorites unless you are connected to the server. I've noticed random people connecting to the Zombie Survival server and Sled Build, so the official servers definitely show up in the Internet tab but even this varies.
Coolzeldad you told us that if all goes well the servers would be 100% up in the next week that was 2 weeks ago How long more do we have to wait because community testing isnt working,no one goes on TTT and only 2 maximum on zombie servers when i check.
