Hi, I play RND regularly and I am sure I have installed the elevator source correctly but each time I try to join the elevator source or any other elevator source mode I always get "Missing map maps/elevator.bsp, disconnecting" Can someone help me out I followed the install instructions on pixeltailgames.com correctly, and it is not in my map list on start new game or multiplayer maps can I have some help please?

Where do I put it in the same place I put my other one? steamapps>user>gmod>gmod?
I tried 3 diff programs this one will work?

Three different programs?
Not sure what you mean. All you have to do is download the content pack and stick it in your addons folder (steamapps/user/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons/).

For some reason, when I joined the server BEFORE installing the addon it didn't work. When I took the contents of the addon and dropped it in my garrysmod folder, everything worked.

Like I went to pixeltail downloaded both those programs for elevator source went here, http://www.gamefront.com/files/21183484/ElevatorSource_addon_rev402.zip (http://www.gamefront.com/files/21183484/ElevatorSource_addon_rev402.zip) and i put em in steam>steamapps> user> garrysmod>garrysmod am I supposed to put it in the addon folder like double click the folder or merge it ? I have been merging it.

This might seem like a silly question, but have you tried restarting gmod?

Yes I restart gmod after I finish downloading the mod, I have also tried logging off and back on, It has not worked.>:(

Odd.
Check your garrysmod/addons/(elevator content name)/maps and see if the map is there.
You said you merged folders, so I'm assuming if it's not there, it'd be in garrysmod/maps/elevator.bsp too.

/steamapps/user/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons/elevator/info.txt
That's how the folder structure should be after you copy the files.

You don't want that.
Move the elevator one folder up, so it's
/steamapps/user/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons/elevator/

Yeah. The second addons folder shouldn't exist.

Ok I deleted the second one and I put the Elevator folder in my first addons folder with my wiremod and other addons
Alright I can start it up now I need to figure out how to update my wiremod x.x
