I find it really annoying on maps like fear tower where its loading and i'm actually in the game, zombies can hurt me. There could be a way to prevent it. Whenever someone is loading they are floating. So what we could do is make it so that when they are floating in the air, they cannot take damage.

A spawn protection for humans would be great, to where it doesn't wear off until the player moves (or 60 seconds, whichever comes first).

I'd rather have 30 seconds. Or it could be used so that you can stay afk. I still want it so that you can kill afks, but not people loading.

23-26 seconds of spawn protection at the least would be great. What's the longest anyone has spent loading? At most it should be 45 seconds, we can't forget about the players who load realy fast either.

Ah yes, duh. As long as it waers of as soon as they look around it a minute time limit is fine.

When people find out, wouldn't they just stay still for the entire game? making them impossible to kill.

That's why we would have some form of time limit on the protection.

Oh God, yes.
I'm sick of hearing zombies whine when I kill them and they say, "Stop shooting me, I just want the afks." and then I have to say, "They're not afk, you prick, they're loading." and then they ignore me and continue to whine.

I think 40 seconds is the perfect time for this option. its not to long, and not to short. I also have the same problem when ever i join ZS, though not every time.

there is a option to if you dont move as afk from clientside it will reman untouchable ive seen this on other zs servers, the problem is without a time limit this can be confusing to zombie players and then act as godmode bait for humans to camp on.

How about humans spawn in a skybox and when round starts a teleporter opens allowing humans to leave the enclosed space.. And at the end of every round (when zombies cant spawn) it teleports anyone inside out.. that way anyone spawning as a human can choose to leave or be givin whatever the round timers are to get out or ends up getting teleported out.??
Or any variation of this idea would be a good addition

No. Why not? Well first off it makes the player untouchable for the entire round, secondly if it were like that I would stay afk until I was warped out so I would get a better chance at living. It's a bad idea and requires larger edits to be made.

lol @ staying afk for a better chance at living. you must not be great at zs... But it is a viable way of fixing this without redoing code for ZS gamemode as you can just edit this box into the maps rather than into the gamemode.

Besides, the same thing applies only now the only time limit is as long as the time until the round ends.

with talks of upgrading the zs would be an easy time to get it into there.
But i myself dont really ever get killed while loading..i mean it does happen sometimes but is vert rare as and i play on a Macbook Pro 17 inch i7 bootcamped running windows... it really falls down to
Specs of users computer + Current connection rate ( his internet ) / The round he joins... People with cruddy computers and or internet connection are usually the ones who get killed while loading... However there is that slim chance that you just get unlucky and catch Zaids while your floating cause the other humans ran away.
Another solution for this could be to possibly upload all the current ZS maps into a Map Pack so people dont have to download crap and end up getting killed..? they would pop up before round 1 like the rest of the humans..
Like in downloads section have current ZS mappack and just drag it into your maps folder and bamm.. wouldnt have to worry about spawning in wave 2 and swarmed by redeem hungry dead guys
