Title: favorite breed of dog?

pretty simple game, what is your favorite breed of dog? and why is it your favorite?

first up my all time favorite breed of dog is the Great Pyrenees, largely to do because my oldest dog (he is 11 btw) is a great pyrenees. (http://www.gotdogsonline.com/great-pyrenees-pictures-breeders-puppies-rescue/pictures/great-pyrenees-0048.jpg)

I think they look cool, and the ones I've been around are rather nice (even if they howl a lot)

Well, I have three, really.

Doberman Pinscher because I grew up with one,

Bichon Frise because I lived with three of them in England,

Appenzeller Mountain/Cattle Dog because we currently have one that's been with us for 12 years.
