Title: TTT?
Post by: mickey0528 on January 11, 2012, 12:43:38 AM
I wanna ask if it's allowed to block a player
Like standing in a doorway and not moving, blocking a player in a corner(like that deagle room for Alt_borders) or blocking someone to cause him to die by trap(the bridge trap of crummy cradle) ?

I say nay.
The player is either trolling (which is likely) or is Traitor. Whatever they're doing though, you're still not going to kill them are you?
It sort of is like the prop pushing thing. It's a non-karma affected advantage for the prop pusher, same with standing in someone's way.

Yes or no, nothing is going to be done about it, it's really the players problem.

my purpose here is to know if he can be kicked or warned for doing that, cuz sometimes it's annoying and, yea as axule said the benefit is on the blocker

Blocking is allowed since you are able to push the blocker away.

Err, let me figure out where the hell the full rules are listed and I'll get back to you.

There is no rule listed about prop pushing, in such a case what you are best off doing is to get a prop to push his prop or to get a discombobulator.

Beware though, explosive barrels may explode when jammed into something.

It's a bit unnerving that as long as a death does not occur I can proppush anyone and everyone. Thats a pretty big gap in the rules.

That's not the right thread.
The current rules are here (http://wiki.randomgs.com/index.php?title=Server_Rules).
Prop punishing is not allowed for everyone including traitors too.

So what about blocking players in corners (for example, the tiny room that only allow 1 person in each house of rich_apt) and keep pushing him in?

Prox, we can't possibly hope to document every single minor infraction that occurs. Which is why we still have VIP as a trusted rank: We trust people to make decisions on what they feel is right and wrong, depending on the current situation in which the event occurs.

That being said: Prop pushing is frowned upon, kickable when used to kill (most times), but using a prop to get out of a room someone is physically trapping you in should not be a problem, so long as you do not hurt them.
