Well my L4D2 is working perfectly but when there's a person's voice it gets said in like slow motion. Help please? It's really annoying.

I use to have this problem with cracked l4d2...
I fixed it by reinstalling although u can try verifying the integrity

Technically it was a full rip and super compressed so is that the same as installing?

Okay, I reinstalled but now the game won't even open... it comes up as l4d2 has stopped working, blah blah blah

You may have to repatch it... If you used a patcher to bypass steams shit....
Other than that... Google is ur friend

Go into the steam options and add -defaults -autoconfig
to the startup launch.
I used to have this problem. It's related to trying to run L4D2 on a shader detail higher than your GPU can render/support.

As I stated this before, it's non-steam but in this case I'm gonna guess it's the shortcut target. I'll try it in a moment.
New problem, game always crashes when starting it up :<
