Title: add deathmaps to normal map rotation

Since maps that are much worse than deathmaps such as fear tower, maze or checkpoint get voted whenever it's possible to vote them (even if any deathmap is available too), I think it'll be good to re-add deathmaps to the normal rotation.

Everybody loves deathmaps and I don't think they'll get overplayed as hard as they used to.

So, thoughts?

You have a point seeing how it is always a select hand of shit maps constantly being replayed over and over again.

Maybe I  the community should do a re-dub of the deathmaps? So the maps are less glitchy and both sides have a fair advantage?

At some point later time, we will see the deathmaps being shit, and we can watch the natural cycle of poor maps in zombie survival take its next stage.

If all deathmaps should be added then someone need to edit deathgarage because of the zombie spawn doors. I don't even know why they're there but I'm guessing it's to prevent spawn camping. But the thing is that humans usually don't even get to those doors, especially at the beginning of the game and all those doors are doing is just slowing the zombies down, by quite a lot.

No. I hate deathmaps. Far too moody, you can die from anything you forgot about last time you played the other deathshitmaps

I don't think we should, then all the new people that join the server are gonna die and rage.
Also on the map where a big rolling ball comes down when you break that certain wall, people hide in that tunnel room right before it. then they Get a cade kit and live forever which doesn't give the zombies a chance to kill humans and makes it unfair

Most of the deathmaps need some balancing before they should be added back.  I still don't see why the maps arn't sorted in alphabetical order though, that would help with the map-spam problems.

We used to play them in alphabetical order, then the server started to crash every 4 - 7 rounds, idk what happened, but 1 or 2 months later you could vote.

I would like it to be like that, but i don't know what the community thinks.

Some maps, humans die in wave 3, and on others, you stand watching someone for 7 rounds in a corner just being able to take damage from poison headcrabs.


But editing then would kind of kill them... maybe just fix the doors in deathgarae and that place were you can press a buton, get on top of some crates and only poison headcrabs can get you?

those are the only 2 fixes i think should be made... and maybe some ammo crates.

IMO if we have maps that are still overly unbalanced in favor of humans, a few maps that result in rapid human deaths favoring zombies couldn't hurt. :P

Even still, it'd be cool to have these as regular rotation choices, and not just those rare chances, especially since the keep-playing-the-same-5-7-maps-over-and-over crowd can be bad enough where more and more we don't get to choose a deathmap in the once-in-a-while it comes up.

I  :thumbsup: this. The maps don't take that long to learn and even though they are unbalanced if you know how to organize a good rush as zombie its no problem. In addition with maps not being able to be voted for two games in a row, they shouldn't have a problem of being overplayed.
